(1) The quality of Chinese calcined kaolin differs greatly from imported high whiteness and ultra-fine calcined kaolin products. China's development and design of calcined kaolin products usually only pay attention to the whiteness, particle size distribution, wear and other indicators, but lack of assessment and evaluation of the internal relationship and quality characteristics between the indicators;

(2) There is relatively little scientific research on modified kaolin in the environmental protection industry;

(3) The modified kaolin raw material has excellent performance, and the stability and reliability of the raw material are weak, and the cost is high.

2. Suggestions on the Difficulties of Kaolin Soil Modification

Based on the above challenges, considering various aspects such as improving the physical properties and quality of raw materials, reducing costs, and reducing energy consumption, the modification of kaolin should be thoroughly analyzed at the following levels:

(1) Thoroughly analyze the principles of various modification methods for kaolin, providing a theoretical basis for producing high-performance raw materials;

(2) Further improve the level and processing reliability of modified kaolin as a functional filler, try to optimize and upscale it as much as possible, and minimize the differences with foreign countries;

(3) Apply other new technologies to the modification solution of kaolin, thereby enhancing the limitations of traditional solutions and improving the structure and physical properties of raw materials.

At present, there are serious difficulties in the production and processing of kaolin in China. Kaolin generally undergoes simple rough processing, which involves exporting and importing it overseas at a cheap price. However, this region undergoes reproduction and processing before being sold back to China at a high price. This type of production and processing method severely hinders the development trend of the kaolin field in China. Therefore, focusing on the production and processing industry of kaolin, developing commodities, and enhancing the added value of kaolin are of great significance for the rationality and economic development of kaolin resources in China.
