The difference between impurity particles and clarity during the filtration of imported diatomaceous

In fact, imported diatomaceous earth filtering mainly involves three effects: intercepting solid impurity particles suspended in the liquid on the surface of the medium and near the channel, and then achieving the purpose of solid-liquid separation.

1、 Screening effect is an external filtering effect. When a fluid flows through diatomaceous earth, the pores of the diatomaceous earth are smaller than the particle size of the impurity particles, so that the impurity particles cannot pass through and are intercepted. This effect is called screening effect.

2、 The depth effect is the retention effect of deep filtration.

3、 The adsorption effect is vastly different from the above two filtration mechanisms, and this effect can actually be seen as an electrokinetic attraction effect, which primarily depends on the external properties of solid particles and imported diatomaceous earth itself.
